Summer is shy, and so are you. Here are some tracks to help you break free from the cloud cover.
Bella Bespoke, “Silly” (Australia)
This is a perfect coming-of-age tune, add Bella Bespoke to your playlist of songs to listen to while driving through city tunnels. This new album captures the essence of early summer; stopping at a lookout, a bottle of wine sliding off the car hood, smoking with friends, and the air thick with intoxicating uncertainty. The vocals are laced with sardonic wit and sincerity, delivering a whimsical and introspective narrative about individuality and the nuances of personal identity. The production retains its raw edge, and the experimental melodies have a unique and memorable quality. While you’re at it, add Drive and Sally Constituent to your playlist as well.
