The SS 2025 Menswear Collection pays homage to the timeless classic style of FENDI, tracing back to its first menswear collection launched in 1990.
The wardrobe staples have now been reimagined as a puzzle, creating a modern luxury interpretation that blends contemporary masculine elements. The concept of work and leisure uniforms, once synonymous with the global elite, is now re-envisioned in refined hues—mineral tones of ice cream colors, mist, ivory, caramel, and buttermilk blend seamlessly with soft blues, natural indigo, black, and forest green.
The concept of the FENDI Club blurs the lines between sportswear and formal attire, with its emblem proudly displayed on the chest pockets and buttons like a whimsical badge of honor.
This collection showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of the Selleria stitch, a technique taught to the Fendi family by Roman saddlery masters in 1925. The technique’s versatility is evident, such as being reimagined into pinstripe suit jacquards, woven into stripes or tone-on-tone FF logos through linen and plush fabrics. It also graces the surface of Japanese borosilicate denim and is simplified into the minimalist framework of crisp wool coats and leather goods. Subtle stylings evoke memories of the past, such as loose-fitting aviator jackets, flowing trench coats, and three-button suit jackets paired with wide-leg slit trousers. The traditional nature of the garments is altered by streamlined embellishments: silk-blend shirts with elbow slits allowing for long or short wear, polo shirts with collars snaking from the neck to the ribbing, and asymmetrical silk knits unbuttoning from the shoulder for a relaxed adaptability. Long pocket coats paired with silk ties, topped with pleated shorts, under short summer jackets, are perfectly composed of linen, leather, Madras cotton, and ultra-light suede.
The accessories line reflects a fascination with Selleria, including the Peekaboo ISeeU Soft bag and soft crossbody shopping bags, along with the new zippered Baguette Double sling bag and patchwork Baguettes made from colorful offcuts from the Fendi workshops. Footwear this season includes the color-block Fendi Force sneakers adorned with lock stitching, molded flange sole loafers, and patent leather or saddle-stitched flat moccasins.
