For the 2024 edition of “Nuit Blanche,” Frank Perrin is thrilled to present an immersive auditory experience in the main courtyard of the iconic mansion at 10 Rue de Solférino. Within a white cubic space designed for perception and vision, his twelve recent works are described in cinematic subtitles, accessible for the deaf and hearing impaired.
“There was nothing to see then, everything here is to be projected, felt, and imagined…”
In the “Blind Cube,” audiences are submerged into the pure spiritual imagination of the artwork, as well as into the experiences and imaginations of those with visual impairments. By transcending the boundaries of the visible, “Blind Cube” offers a shared experience for both sighted and blind individuals, providing a way for them to view and share.
Supported by Interparfums, which has made its headquarters at the Hôtel at 10 Rue de Solférino since 2021, and the French acoustic engineering company Devialet, dedicated to fostering artistic creation and future innovations, “Blind Cube” promises a unique and inclusive celebration of art and perception.
