Fendi fortifies its collaborations with Nicholas Galitzine and Zhang Ruoyun in their latest advertising endeavor. Both celebrities have been in collaboration with Fendi for some time, with Nicholas Galitzine stepping into the spotlight as Fendi’s first global menswear ambassador in 2023, following his attendance at Fendi’s Baguette 25th anniversary show in New York in September 2022. He also represented the brand in the Fall/Winter 2023-24 menswear advertising campaign. Zhang Ruoyun was appointed as the leather goods ambassador for Fendi in China as early as 2021.
Crafted by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the artistic director of accessories and menswear, the Fendi Fall/Winter 2024-25 menswear collection draws inspiration from outdoor activities infused with urban flair. The essence of this collection comes to life in the new campaign, creatively and cinematically directed by the versatile Italian artist Nico Vascellari. Galitzine and Ruoyun are depicted against metallic and geometric backgrounds, with transparent glass structures enhancing this effect, reminiscent of the brushed steel FF letter benches displayed at the FENDI Fall/Winter 2024-25 menswear show, also created by Vascellari.
The latest series showcases iconic styles and accessories worn by Galitzine and Ruoyun, adding an element of surprise and charm. Long pleated shorts paired with leather Wellington boots and climbing socks reflect the influence of Scottish kilts. Coats feature Selleria leather collars and suede “corduroy” contrasting details, including fisherman’s coats and FF canvas waterproof wax jackets. Color-blocked knitwear complements playful details and cuts, while formal wear is adorned with exquisite crystal FF evening pins designed by jewelry artistic director Delfina Delettrez Fendi. Bags boast unique curves and silhouettes, including the new Siesta bag and modular Melon hobo and backpack styles. Moreover, the Peekaboo ISeeU Soft and Baguette Soft Trunk showcase distinctive designs, with footwear options including high-platform lace-up deck shoes and grained leather Wellington boots with ankle Selleria stitching.
