ETRO Unveils SS25 Menswear Collection: A Fusion of Prints and Heritage

ETRO’s Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection embarks on a profound exploration of print-making, seamlessly blending signature elements like paisley, stripes, and Madras patterns that have long been synonymous with the Etro brand. These distinctive patterns weave a rich narrative that integrates classical and contemporary aesthetics.

The journey traces back to Gimmo Etro’s fascination with noble fabrics and handcrafting techniques since the 1960s, as he sought and collected materials from various cultures and regions. Under Marco De Vincenzo’s creative direction, these fabric patterns serve as the cornerstone of stories that delve into the realm of patterns, illustrating how they influence Etro’s creative legacy by merging inspirations, eras, and cultural impacts.

The collection showcases six silhouettes adorned with eleven different patterns, presenting two color variations on a single viscose fiber fabric. De Vincenzo harmonizes the brand’s unique elements to create a dynamic display characterized by the juxtaposition of past and present. Each shape and pattern evolves into a new form of expression, blending with others to create a vibrant mix of natural and lively tones.

This immersive experience highlights the quintessential Etro prints, unveiled during a special event at Milan Fashion Week. Guests had the opportunity to don suits from the new collection at an intimate dinner in the enchanting Voce Aimo e Nadia garden, nestled within the architectural splendor of the Gallerie d’Italia.
